Don't think I'll be able to get on today, have a lot of cleaning up to do before New Years. Hope you guys have fun though.
-
Great games, guys. Will see if I can make the evening time slot as well, no promises though.
-
Gonna try to be on in about an hour, I'll have to see how kiddo handles nap time today before I can be sure.
-
May not be able to make the afternoon time anymore, my kiddo seems to be outgrowing the afternoon nap so I won't have any free time to play at that time. We'll see how it goes tomorrow though.

As a lobby host, you can change the player limit, the most being 12. I set it to 8 last week since I didn't think we'd have more than that this first week. We will keep it open to randoms for now since it does help fill out a room, and we'll bring up the idea of a password if we experience an issue with spots being taken. Do we also want to have a default set(s) to use? I like the Cards Against Humanity set and MyLittle Pony set, though different sets are cool too.

@Light Landstrider and @Skyrazer, do you think it was ok being an open lobby to let randoms in, or do you think we will want a password to get in? (If this still quotes MoltenKitten, I'm sorry...) (Yup, it did... I don't know how to get rid of it )

Seem to have found an issue or two on mobile when replying to posts. Sometimes I'll be trying to reply with Swype and words will not appear after a Swype. I would have to resort to hitting each key separately, which not a huge issue is sometimes annoying. The other thing I've noticed is that occasionally after trying to reply and cutting a message short, the next time I pull up the reply box in the same thread, the previous message will remain. It can be remedied by deleting or highlighting and cutting the previous message, but now I've found something that doesn't work with either of those. In the Cards Against Equestria thread in the PC Games board, I quoted a member and made a mistake with it, somehow resulting in not being able to input text or delete it. After refreshing the page and figuring out how to delete the word that needed fixing, completed the reply and posted. After getting a response, I was trying to reply back but am stuck with the quote box in the reply area as seen here. I cannot delete it, and after both signing out and deleting cookies, it is still there.

How would you like to be notified, then?

Don't know why I was getting booted after those two games, but that was so much fun. Can't wait til next week (if not enough people can make it to the time period tonight)!
-
Just wanted to let everyone know I'm on the website and will be opening a lobby for a game in a minute. Hope to see people on~ The lobby will be called 'FiG Lobby'
-
Alright, we already have reached the minimum number of players for the afternoon (EST) time period, though the more the better. Awesome! The evening time period is a little shy of the minimum player mark I set. Should a couple more people say they can make this one then we will have two sets of gatherings for every Saturday. At this point, I'd like to say: Hope to see folks Saturday afternoon! Should someone get to the site first, feel free to set up a lobby. If we decide at that time to make it password only to keep randoms out, then make sure the password is shared in this thread. I think using our FiG screen names would help us know who is who upon entering the lobby.

Want me to put you down for both then?
-
I think if we get at least 5 players per time period, that would be the best so each time period has enough players to play a decent sized game. I'll keep a tally of each time period so we all know. If we get more people than the minimum of 5, the better. So thus far: -Sat @ 2 or 3pm EST - minimum number of players met, 6/8 is next target -Sat @ 10pm EST - 3/5 players
-
So perhaps two time periods would be best to accommodate to enough people's timezones and/or sleeping schedules? Could I get a show of interest for: -Saturdays at 2 or 3pm EST? -Saturdays at 10pm EST? I know I'm ok with both, though I will likely be more present during the evening time.

Kind of what I was afraid of. Thanks, Skyrazer. It still seems the general consensus is in the evenings, but I would not be opposed to having two times to gather and play if there is enough people up for it. I would hate to exclude a couple of people because evenings in the US are their early mornings, and I don't want this to be the reason some people get up at 4/5am in the morning just to play a couple rounds of CAE. So if there are enough people that could swing both the 10pm EST as well as an afternoon time, that would probably be the most inclusive solution.
