Do you prefer the evil Sunset or the good Sunset?

In Equestria Girls, Sunset Shimmer is quite simply the single biggest walking cliche in the entire movie. Granted, EqG1 is a cliche itself, but Sunset Shimmer was such a boring, uninteresting villain; though admittedly Juniper Montage comes VERY close to her due to pettiness; but that's another discussion. The good Sunset Shimmer is really a revelation for Equestria Girls, and is really the only reason to have continued the franchise after the first film. Granted we've had other good things like interesting villains and some of the huMane 5 eventually developing in character, but Sunset's fall, struggle, and rise are what really drive the EqG franchise, if you will.

Not bad; and at least it is reasonably priced for a short game.

and plus you can make a pretty over powered mecha

  5. He's appeared in various other MLP comics; he's just never given a name, IIRC. He tends to pop up randomly and say strange things. IIRC, he made a small appearance in the Reflections arc as well.
  6. Hope you're doing well. Didn't see your message, but at least wanted to give you one. :)

Lack on interest on the rest of season 6

Your thoughts are understandable; though I can't say that I share them. While it is evident that season 6 isn't hitting the high notes that season 5 did, there have been plenty of GREAT episodes in S6 up to this point. Of course Spike has been the standout character and Starlight has been great as well; though I would argue that others like Dash, Rarity, and Flutters have received their fair share of greats as well.

    S6 - Episode 17 - Discussion

I thought the episode was VERY enjoyable; easily one of the best of the season thus far. And I must say, Spike has yes ANOTHER solid episode! Really, season 6 is to Spike was season 4/5 was to the CMC. Also, the episode was just funny; the writing was very clever.

Why did you join the fandom?

My initial interest came from fan art I had seen on FurAffinity; specifically seeing avian versions of the Mane 6 & Trixie. Keep in mind this was way back in 2011 and the middle of when season 1was being broadcast. Following that various comments & meme images kept popping up and I was just so curious as to why MLP, of all things, was garnering this much interest. Lo and behold I have the first episodes a try, and it hooked me. The animation, story-telling, and genuine characters were actually likable, and the general feeling reminded me so much of the classic Spyro the Dragon games. As such...I was hooked. <3
