I'm just waiting for Celestia's episode... Still waiting.

I was very disappointed with this episode. I expected more creativity and more "games". Maybe a few strokes about the importance of the games to Equestria. Instead I get "Spike-abuse" and this stupid device that can nullify magic in the same world the changelings simply up and capture all of the princesses. I've said it before... Some episodes are so bad they make other episodes worse.

Like RK_Striker_JK_5 said, we appreciate your reviews. And it's not because we tend to agree. It's because you're doing more than just spouting your opinion as fact. You're putting effort and thought behind them.

This episode is an example of those episodes that could've been avoided if the people responsible thought about it for a few seconds.

Maude Pie is the single, solitary, most boring thing in this cartoon for me. In my opinion, she just can't hold an episode on her own. Another thing that bothers me is the whole "misunderstood" thing. I cannot forget that scene where she's talking to Rarity about fashion and she says that her dress isn't saying anything because it's a dress. Ugh... She came out more as a jerk than anything.

I'm going to follow this thread to see by how much I need to adjust my faith in humanity.

I think that My Little Pony as a whole is pretty decent (for a children's cartoon that isn't really trying very hard). The only problem for me are in the details. And the only one that manages to annoy me is Princess Celestia. She really needs to get a buff in her awesome factor.

Triple Threat sounds like it should be in a two-parter so that the setup doesn't get rushed. I have no idea how are they going to do this after the season six finale.

So, the synopsis for episode 10 has been confirmed. Man... After such a nice episode like Celestial Advice... I'll resist the urge to go on the usual "Celestia Spiel" about Celestia, characters being made idiots for the sake of the plot and all the rest because Celestial Advice was a nice surprise and this episode can be too. I just don't have high hopes. It sucks being Celestia's fan.

I actually liked the breezie's fragility. If the cartoon was trying, they could've made a decent point about the fragility of the environment (as opposite to the usual we get from cartoons in general that just ruin the message with a bad moral). I think it made a good point about how the ponies are connected to their world in a similar way to Winter Wrap Up. Agree with all the rest, though.

Fluttershy is Awesome: The Episode. This is the kind of episode that makes fans happy. EDIT: By the way... Something good came out of The Hooffields and the McColts...

Maude is the most boring thing in this cartoon to me and this episode didn't... Click with me in the beginning. And then Starlight Glimmer came into the episode. Wow. Did she save this one. And we also got a bit of background on Starlight Glimmer. Nicely done, DHX. Pinkie was.. Annoying. But I suppose that this was the intention. All in all an okay episode. I just wish it had ended when Pinkie left SG in her bedroom. I can't believe I wanted SG back in the episode.

I'm not convinced that synopsis is real.

This is a very good point. The pacing in the episode didn't bother me, but SG's progression did. I feel like All Bottled Up should've aired in the previous season; because it shows that SG is changing.

I'm not going to repost my comment about the episode here. I'll keep to what I think are the most important points. As a fan of the show, both episodes were very good at what they were attempting to do. As a Celestia fan, I think that Celestial Advice did as much good for Celestia as Sleepless in Ponyille did for Luna. Though Luna never really was in a position where she desperately needed an episode about her. But I think the episodes are analogous. Twilight and Celestia shared this episode wonderfully and every character was used in a very nice and endearing way. Technically, I have no problem with either episodes if not for the fact that the part about Twilight and friends in All Bottled Up felt like filler until I realized that it was a nice counterpoint to what was going on between Trixie and Starlight Glimmer, specially since we've seen the six friends exactly where Trixie and Starlight Glimmer are now. I thought it was an excellent way to tell the story and to emphasize what great friends they are, even when they want to kill each other every now and then. I think this is a lovely sentiment to inspire in kids. Other than that, Trixie is amazing with Starlight Glimmer. By the way... Bottling up.. I really liked that allusion and I think it's very relevant. I laughed so much during Twilight's simulations in the previous episode. But what really sold me that episode was everything after that. And that is when my "Celestia fan" heart soared. Though I would've preferred to see Celestia and Twilight studying alone, in a more personal way, their dialogue convinced me that they were very close and that Twilight was a special student, indeed, for Celestia. But the lack of that was remedied by Celestia, closely, personally, teaching one lesson to Twilight, as we were watching the episode. Wonderful. Beside that, I think that the show shouldn't be done with Celestia yet. I think there's more to show about her: Celestia the Ruler. Celestia the Sister. Celestia the Protector of Equestria. But I can't complain much more. These episodes are the sort of thing that keep me coming back for more pony.

Also known as "hardcore ponies that eat rocks". Probably just as hardcore as the Cakes that change diapers with their mouths. Man... Other than that, I want to say that I'm happy this group now exists and that I love the way Pinkie's mother looks.

It's come to a point that I'm glad ponies have Cadance. Luna is unstable AF and I'm tired of waiting for Celestia to have a presence. Mi Amore Cadenza... Princess, mother, wife, foalsitter, wise sister in law and badass defender of the Crystal Empire. You stole Celestia's place, but I love you Cadance. And your shields kick ass. TIARAS! F*** YEAH!
