Yeah, something happened to one or both of the two 1TB SSD drives keeping be booting past BIOS. It ultimately resorted in having them replaced (for once I'm glad I got a warranty on something electronic). Now I'm having to set up my computer again from scratch.
Man, I'm glad I actually have a tangible keyboard and mouse to use again. How do them whippersnappers Tick the Tock with only their fingers?

It isn’t uncommon for me to hit the wrong key on a smartphone.
Fortunately, my laptop is still running after 10 years. I also don’t need to look at the keyboard to type on it.

Welcome back Lord Nanfoodle!

A quick question here. After looking on his Steam profile today, I'm left wondering... what happened to Toki?
-
Curious as to where I went, eh? Well, my laptop imploded on me in March. It was already a potato at that point, but then the hard drive decided to eat it, so when they decided to give out them simulus checks, I decided to get me a spiffy new laptop. So, I'm back!!

Merry Festivus, everyone!! I await the Airing of Grievances. The Feats of Strength, not so much...

Saw the new Pony Life trailer, and... I have to say, regardless of how the show will come out, it is extremely amusing to see the Mane 6 singing "Good as Hell." Because, you know, a family show. :3
Also, is it just me, or does the artwork remind anyone besides me of some of Piemations' style?
-
They were saying "good as hell?" Had to go back and watch it and I can still barely tell. Not familiar with Piemations but after looking it up I can see a similarity in style. Unfortunately a lot of fans immediately though of Teen Titans Go when they saw the style so there has been some backlash on that front. However, I wouldn't expect anything less. There is always a lot of doom and gloom when "change" comes around. The backlash to Equestria Girls and especially Twilight's wings (all in the same year no less) was huge and yet people have come to like them since. Not everyone of course but in general no more backlash. I for one don't mind the new animation style for Pony Life and think it's absolutely worth giving a chance.

It's no secret I'm no fan of paranormal investigation shows, shows like "Ghost Adventures" or "The Dead Files." I mean, if ghosts are real, mathematically there would eventually be a haunted Walmart. Seeing them try to do an investigation in a haunted Walmart would be hilarious, given they stay open 24/7 364 days a year. I mean, if ghosts are real and could be potentially anywhere, why can't there be a ghost haunting a slurpee machine in a 7-11, in which case why don't they have investigators checking out reports of said specters possessing the slurpee machine at 7-11? I think this could be big old house and museum covering up the truth. Your Whole Foods could be owned and operated by... POLTERGEISTS!!
But the more likely possibility is that ghosts, if real, would better things to do than to mess with whomever Zak Bagans sends to do the work he doesn't want to do.

I've recently seen what the title of the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie is going to be, and dammit, if they don't have Kale and Broly fight, then may Yamcha help us all.

Yesterday morning around 4:40 AM I stepped outside for a moment and to my surprise my backyard was a veritable mini bunny stampede. Six to seven rabbits went scurrying all of a sudden.
-
Earlier today, I got to thinking, and suddenly I wondered what a combination of "The Jeffersons" and "Warhammer 40K" would be like...
Anyone else ever have moments where they mash two seemingly impossible things together and then think, "Hey, this might work!!"

After listening to a commentator bumble his history on Square and Enix and the origins of Final Fantasy during a Final Fantasy Randomizer race (Seriously, what is with me and randos?), I now want something I never knew I wanted before - a Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest/Star Ocean crossover game.
-
that seems awesome i'll buy that

I know it's about an hour and a half after 3:18 PM EDT, but it's my birthday now, so begin showering me with your adoration!! Praise me!! Share with me your favorite recipes!! Hug your ramen!! Build life-sized statues of Trixie vaporizing Christopher Columbus with a Hadouken made out of dog poo and place them on Toki's lawn, in my honor!! It will amuse me.

Heh heh, you do that. Me? I don't drink. The only alcohol I've ingested in my life has been in cough syrup, and even then I'm not a fan.
-
Fine....non alcoholic cider it is.

Let me just say, I friggin' love me some Apollo Gauntlet.

Now, it could of been the fact I had just ate some cereal and I'm lactose intolerant, but I'm pretty certain the recent episode of MLP was so bad it gave me diarrhea.

I'm looking at my watch, and it's just under 5 minutes until the 4th anniversary of the Onigiri Rarity Matsuri. It's a shame we can't a shindig like those of old, but it doesn't mean we cannot celebrate our glorious riceball nonetheless.
For those scratching their heads wondering what the heck this "Onigiri Rarity Matsuri" is, it was a day-long celebration originally started on a lark during a late night session on the old PF2 servers, when the at the time admin Mr. Hooves typed the sentence, "Onigiri Rarity is best Rarity." at 4:26:36 AM on May 20th, 2013. Shortly after, what happened was nothing short of an improvised server-wide giveaway and trading of items, crates, robo-crates, keys, and robo-keys of a large scale.
The following year, I decided to keep the magic alive with a large raffle event, always starting at 4:26 AM, and the event growing each year, with the last Matsuri we did throwing in a special extra competition using PF2's own Heroes mod known as the "Riceball Hunt," the winner the one that got the quickest kill on me whenever I was Rarity.
Sadly, the end of PF2 and my own financial limitations put an end to the giveaways, but I hope the spirit of the Onigiri Rarity Matsuri will persist here.

I think I've fallen in love with the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Randomizer, namely v8. Turns out in Custom Difficulty you can simply edit out (or for some reason if you wanted to increase the occurrences of [as so long as the total item pool equals 147, or 170 if you have maps and compasses removed as well]) the existence of items in the randomizer pool before generating seeds, so now I can purge the shields forever. SHIELDLESS LINK RULES!!

Nah. It's just as fun without glitches simply for the randomization aspect, although I've learned how to do Hammer Dashing, Magic Mirror Block Teleportation, and Spin Speed to help speed things up (Spin Speed is SO useful on Death Mountain). I still kinda want to learn how to do a proper Bomb Jump, and I know how the Exploration Glitch works (though it being a glitch that lets you win the game in under 4 minutes makes it feels cheap), but Hovering, Super Bunny, Wrong Warping, Overworld Fake Flute, and YBA are still leagues above my skill, and I'm not sure if I would want to learn them.
-
Thought bomb jumping was a feature. There is one part in Ganon's tower where you must do it to reach the optional door. Though you can I think dash into the rail and that will throw you back far enough.
Still will check it out. Thanks. -
Yeah, you can bonk jump to get to that door in Ganon's Tower.

I live in an area where you just have to UTTER snow and it sends folks into a panic, and before you know it, all the break and milk, among other things, is gone, but if you absolutely need bread, tonight I discovered that ever in a disaster, it seems no one wants Jewish Rye. Seriously, all our Wal-Mart had was a couple of multi-grain breads and then a metric butt-ton of Jewish Rye just sitting there, no one touching it. What's up with that?
I think it's because they package it 15 slices to a loaf. Who the hell wants an odd number of slices of bread? I mean, just what WOULD you do with that 15th slice?

For anyone that got one of those Fluttershy ornaments from Five Below...
I recently got one myself along with a Rarity ornament, however, I got to looking at the Fluttershy one and noticed something was amiss, and had to ask... well, I'm trying to figure out if I got some sort of special factory screw-up that slipped by, the factory had a case of "didn't give a damn," or honestly doesn't know who Fluttershy is.
See, it turns out, upon further inspection, her eye shape was that of Pinkie's, not to mention that while her hair was the proper light cherry blossom pink, her tail was painted a darker pink, the same shade as Pinkie's, but most telling they seemed to want to want to confuse the two was that this Fluttershy ornament was clearly sporting Pinkie's cutie mark.
Anyone else buy a Fluttershy ornament like me and they happen to be some sort of half-Pinkie hybrid as well?

We recently acquired a set of electric throws, each with a remote. My two chihuahuas are not fans of the cold and not only like to get under the covers, but have figured out how to work the controls on the throw.

Well, now I know the world is in dire straits - I just saw a Youtube from Ford starring Usagi and Luna from Sailor Moon. At least Hatsune Miku's Toyota ads about seven years ago felt more organic, even if they introduced me to the concept of bacon-wrapped hotdogs. This... This was just a Japanese middle school girl and her talking cat from the moon gushing over a Ford Fusion. Toki, you're SO getting blamed for this.
