Were you introduced to My Little Pony with Friendship is magic, Equestria girls, or the My Little Pony Movie.
Netburst Celeron replied to Rainbow Swirl's topic in Friendship is Magic
I have vague memories of watching G1 episodes with my sisters in the early '90s, so I guess that technically counts as my introduction to MLP. I didn't really become a fan until I watched Friendship is Magic in early 2012, though. -
I might end up giving it a chance, but for now, I'm leaning toward "no". The reason I continue to watch Friendship is Magic is because I've gotten attached to the characters and the universe that the show has built up. If they tear all that down and start over for G5, there's not much incentive to bother with it. Plus, the end of G4 seems like a good time to finally put this whole pony thing to rest.

That would be a better fit.

Now I'm imagining a Star Trek style computer with Celestia's voice.
-
I prefer wired devices to wireless ones (e.g. game controllers, mice, ethernet). And on a related note, I really hate when devices have a non-replaceable , proprietary, rechargeable battery. More and more devices seem to be going this way.

I first saw it when it released in 2015. I've watched it many dozens of times since then. I don't think I'll ever get sick of it.

I bought a really small PC at a thrift store a little while ago. It's about the size of a VCR and it was only five bucks. It's probably too weak for day-to-day usage, but it will make a nice compact emulator box. I also saw a Celestia Build-A-Bear plush for $1.99 at that same thrift store a little bit later. Unfortunately, I was too much of a coward to buy it. Honestly though, I don't know what I would have done with it if I had bought it.

What about your movie theatre experience
Netburst Celeron replied to Winter Shimmer's topic in The 2017 MLP Movie
I originally wasn't going to go to the movie, but I ended up getting a seasonal job that was right across the street from the theater. Therefore, I had no excuse not to go see the movie. I decided to go on October 16th after work. I had planned to go to the 11:30 AM showing, but my boss kept me just a little too long, and I got out of work at 11:45. It was about 12:00 by the time I got to the theater, and the next showing wasn't until 1:50 PM. Since I was already there, I went ahead and bought a ticket for the 1:50 showing. Luckily, my theater has self-service ticket booths outside, so I didn't have to embarrass myself by asking for a "My Little Pony" ticket. The theater I went to is inside a big indoor shopping mall, so I passed the time by walking around inside and looking around. I ended up going into Gamestop, and I bought a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X for Wii U. After that, I went to the food court, sat in a chair, and twiddled my thumbs until it was time for the movie. The guy who took my ticket didn't say anything or give me any weird looks. He just gave me the stub and directed me to the room where the movie was going to play. I entered the room and sat in my seat. I was the only one in the theater at first, but soon, people started to come in. Most of them were families with little girls, and one of those families ended up sitting down right next to me. I was the only lone male adult there, so that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. After a few minutes, I moved to the back where I wouldn't be so plainly visible. Unfortunately, the seat I sat in ended up being someone else's assigned seat. So I had to move again. But after that, the movie went off without a hitch. I stayed until the end of the credits, so I saw that little scene with Celestia at the very end. Only me and the cleaning guy were left in the theater by then. Despite a few minor awkward moments, I had a good time. It reminded me of when my grandparents would take me and my sisters to see Disney movies during the nineties. Also, I never did bother to tell my family that I went to the theater to see the MLP movie. As far as they know, I just had a really long shift at work. -
I'm still on the fence about seeing this movie in the theater, but I'm leaning toward "no". I'll wait and see what other people's opinions are after the movie comes out. If it ends up being exceptional, I'll probably force myself to go to the theater to see it. Otherwise, I'll just wait for the DVD release.

What's Your Favorite Song In The Soundtrack?
Netburst Celeron replied to Lonely Fanboy48's topic in The 2017 MLP Movie
I think "One Small Thing" is my favorite. "We Got This Together" and "Open Up Your Eyes" are close behind. -
Would you stay or would you go?
Netburst Celeron replied to Sparklefan1234's topic in Friendship is Magic
My favorite pony doesn't like me, but everyone else does? That actually sounds pretty good to me. Sure I'd stay. I might move to a different town though, and before I left, I'd leave a dog turd on my former-favorite pony's doorstep. -

Yep. That's the exact reason I stay away from power windows and locks (and motorized seats, too). They're too prone to failure.

If you could be something different. What would you be?
Netburst Celeron replied to Leonbrony17's topic in Pony Free Posts
Someone who's good at math. -
I don't have a smartphone, and I don't think I've ever even sent a text. I'm more familiar with DOS than I am with Android or iOS. I avoid social media (facebook, twitter, etc) like the plague. I was forced by my family to make a facebook account, but I never use it. I'd rather go to a rental store to rent movies/games than use online services like Netflix. Too bad rental stores have gone the way of the dodo. I prefer '80s and '90s video games to modern ones. I'd rather have a game as a cartridge or a disc instead of a digital download. Most of my favorite music is from before I was born (1987). I'd rather read a paperback than an e-book. I prefer cars that have manual locks and windows.
