you know, I never really understood how people can roleplay, I always get nervous.

Well, it may be less daunting to have a 1 on 1 role play first, that way you ease into how it works and how the other person plays it out, and over time you may manage to hop into some larger scale story.

Knowledge and information needs to be treated as a human right, on a similar level as access to food and water.
Controlling the flow of information and deciding where and what to distribute is a form of censorship and not unlike a dictatorship.
The internet is a means of distributing information. Controlling access to the internet is like controlling who gets access to food and water in what amounts.
This is why we need to fight for the free trade of information. It's the only way to grow as a species.

Perhaps I found a new thing that went straight to my bucket list once I saw it.
One day, browsing these forums, an advertisement popped up for none other than the friggin Cunard Line. I go "Wait, they're still a thing?!" because this is the same people who ran the friggin Titanic, the Lusitania, and the Queen Mary herself!
Just out of curiosity, I look at the stuff they do (Because I crave adventure) and my goodness, I would so go on the Queen Mary II and do an almost month-long expedition while feeling dapper af and let my maritime nerdiness explode while still being dapper af.
Too bad I am broke af for this kind of stuff.
