  1. In other words, could certain questions finally get answed , and certain theroies be put to rest. Well, with any kind of closuer on a franchise, the finale always seems to (at most times) open the doors to allow the writers to get a lot of stuff out of their system for themselves and for at most, the fans. But will the final season of MLP : FIM do that as well? Here I talk about what could be finally addressed, if that is the case. Now one of the first things that they (the writers) could finally address, is the whole Spike x Rarity situation. What I mean is, that if the writers choose to do so (IMO I believe they will), this will finally be addressed, and the outcome will be one that is a positive one, and yet be one that not a lot of the brony/pegasister community will agree on. And what the outcome will be, Spike and Rarity together. You may ask "How?" Well, it's quite simple, if you look at the fact, that they've been teasing this since Eps. 1, and throughout the show's run, they've had several episodes centered around Spike, that have also involved Rarity in some major/minor capacity, and with it being the final season of the show, like I mentioned at the beginning at the start, it opens the door for this to take place. And the reason being is, unless the series finale somehow ties into G5 and G5 becomes a soft Retcon/Reboot of FIM, then (IMO) this Spike x Rarity Deal will finally become a reality. 2. A Sugar Belle and Big Mac wedding will most likely happen. The reason being is the fact that this could be looked at as a 3 chapter deal, with the first happening in S7 , and So it only makes sense to tie this trifecta up with a 3rd and final chapter happening in the final season, which would culminate with a wedding between Sugar and BIg. Heck, for emotional sake, have the spirts of AJ, AppleBloom and Big Mac's parents appear to show their love and support, and thus have the kids and Sugar Belle seem as well. 3. Finally Addressing Celestria and Luna's orgins. Yes, before the show comes to a close, this has to be addressed, especially after giving them some moments to shine, first in the Premiere of S6 and most recently, not once but twice in S7, and This is something that finally needs to be addressed and I believe (IMO) that the writing staff of FIM will finally do so in the final season. Espiecally with the fact, that if you go back to the S6 Premiere, they both said, "That the birth of an Alicorn, is something Equestria has never seen", and that it was "Even beyond their understanding." Yeah, when they both said those things, that was enough of red flag, and more of a legit reasoning to wanna know about their orgins. 4. Starlight Glimmer becoming an Alicorn? Yes, indeed, this is most likely the direction they are heading, and if S9 is it for the show, definitely expect the writing staff to go this route. And, why?, you may ask. Because it seems that's what they building towards with her. (at least in my IMO), and would make sense that they writing staff make this a reality. 5. Sunset Shimmer Returns! , and the recent "Mirror Magic" EQG special, she has never returned to Equestria on the "Friendship is Magic" side of things. So with the final season, I truly believe and hope, (like many do) that this will be the season that it finally happens. And all honesty, I feel the writing staff knows that as well and will make it happen. 6. I believe that a G1 character has to be brought in, with a G4/FIM update, and that character should Majesty. And if you want a reason why, well if you watch MLP-Silver Quill's and ILOVEKPALOT's Video they did on Villains in MLP, than you pretty much get your answer there, as to why she should be brought in. Basically make her a character, that believes she's doing the right thing, but in fact is not. Or as Silver Quill put it, make her a rogue element that believes that all villainy, even those that have been redeemed, should be disposed of. Than the writers can build towards something between her and Twilight, and at same time, they could acknowledge a history between Celestria, Luna and Majesty as well, and that could really build the tension between her and Twilight. But that's what I (IMO) feel the writers will/would do in the final season, should it be more freelanced. What are your thoughts? God Bless!

  3. After watching "Analyst Bronies React: Season 7 Finale "Shadow Play", I can understand many of the points that they made. However, if you really think about it, Starswirl was just as much to blame for what happen as Twilight. Now you may ask, "How can that be?" Well, when you think about it, if he had placed a note in his journal, telling whoever came across it, not to reverse the spell, maybe the Mane 6 would've been more cautious about it. Now let's say Twilight still wanted to reverse the spell, she could've done it in a way, that like in the S4 premiere , she could've put her own spin on it, and like later on in Part 2 of "Shadow Play", assumes she's figured out a way to bring the Pillars back without the Pony of Shadows, only to have it backfire, for example, when it at first it seems to have work, and even Starswirl seems impressed, but as they start to leave Ponhenge along with the Pillars, that's when the lighting hits and the Pony of Shadows emerges, and as they all turn around and see this, that's when Twilight realizes her own spin on the spell failed. Another thing is, if they wanted to involve Celestria and Luna a bit more, they could've had Starswirl teach them (back in the past) not opening or reverse any kind of spell that's meant to protect Equestria, and then have them pass it on to their future students. One thing some fans have taken issue with, is Starlight being the voice of reason, and basically being the one that saw the bigger picture of the situation and realized that there was possibly more to this than what was being telegraphed. And the reason that was, was because she was using her past experiences as an antagonist and what she had learned as Twilight's Student to realize that they were only getting one side of the story and not the other, and when they finally did get that side of the story, the reaction of the Pillars and StarSwirl was one of, "Oops! We Fu**Yeah** upped! Because they realized that hear their friend out on his reasoning for taking their items, and his reasoning, was because he wanted to help them in battle. And Starlight's reaction towards when this revelation was made, was one of, "See, Stygin was ready to talk and explain his actions" One other thing, is some fans may not like the fact, that it took towards the end of part 2 for her friends to stick up for Twilight, but my guess, is they love and respected Twilight enough, as to not confront Starswirl's berating of her, that was until he didn't even get a look see or consideration to her proposed plan/spell, and guess that was moment that the rest of the Mane 6 were basically "Enough of this berating crap of our friend!" So overall, yes!, "Shadow Play" was/is possibly one of the best Season Finale's the Show has done. But yet there are issue's here and there, that some members of the fanbase will take issue with, either positively or negatively. But those are just my thoughts. What did you guys think of what I had to say? Take Care!

  5. You know, after watching the "Analyst Bronies React: Season 7 Finale "Shadow Play", I decided to do some more discussion on "Shadow Play" and see if maybe what Analyst Bronies pointed out, that perhaps I could I could add to that. Comments are Welcomed

all I can say is this about :Forgotten Friendship"

  8. This is my first PMV, and of course it centers around Rarity x Spike (Sparity) of My Little Pony : Friendship Is Magic. Song used is "Hello" by Lionel Richie Comments are Welcomed
  9. The only way any kind of ship can happen, is when they decide to end the show, and the final (which I still believe will be 10) season occurs , that is where I believe any kind of ship for the Mane 6 or any other MLP character will happen and become official.

  11. I believe the reason for the hate is, how can somepony like Starlight be instantly forgiven for what she did in the S5 Premiere and the S5 Finale?, I think that's what really started the hate/distain ball rolling for Starlight by certain groups of fans.
  12. Here I discuss the character development and growth of one of the most popular characters on MLP : FIM, Rarity. Comments are Welcomed
  13. It's true. Because, when you think about it, with a majority of shows (animated or live-action), depending on how they go, most of the time, you will end up getting some kind of Graduation Episode, and wither it's continues the show, or is the show's finale, one always seems to happen. And along with it, comes changes. And should that be the route the creators go in , one major change could be Sunset Shimmer returning to Equestria (Friendship Is Magic). It would make sense , because as I mentioned above, with any High School based show, no matter if it's based around Magic or not, a Graduation Arc occurs. But should be the case, how it affect Sunset? One scernio, Sunset could back to start her life anew, reconcile with Celestria, and help continue her redemption by helping others out. 2nd Scernio : She Could remain, find a job that suits her when it comes to both Science and Magic combined 3. She, like her friends could continue her education and head to college. No matter what happens in the EQG series, this no doubt is an issue that the creative staff will have to address. One way to address it, will be a crossover movie between both MLP brands, where maybe it's discovered that the reason magic is coming into the EQG world is because Sunset is there and now it's causing a negative effect on both worlds and the only way to save both worlds, is for her to return to the FIM world. Heck you could merge it with the Graduation Story. But I guess will have to see in the end, should that cross the road. But what do you think? Do you agree with my thoughts? Let me and others know below.

  15. Is MLP : Friendship is Magic Hurrying Certain Moments Instead Of Really Building Up To Them? Did this before today, but I discuss, if MLP : FIM is hurrying certain big Moments and should they have held off on them a bit longer. Comments are Welcomed
  16. I'm just curious about that. Are the clothes suppose to match their personalities? I'm just curious about that. Also, how in The Equestria Prime world (the Pony world), she doesn't have mascara on her eyelids (or lipstick as seen in some promo pics), but upon arriving in the human world, she does. Couldn't they kind of keep her a bit of the same, like they did with Twilight. Also, one last thing, How in the world can she or Twilight get easily adjusted to the human body, like it's it nothing? Someone, please answer that. That's all have to ask for now. God Bless!
  17. As far as a possible return for Sunset Shimmer to Equestria , High School Graduation may be the only way Sunset returns to Equestria , and here in this near 30min video (I do apologize for the length of the video), I do give my opinion on why that may be the case for her return to happen. 19. When Twilight and Later Starlight Enter The Human Equestria World, How do they get their clothes or in Starlight's case, mascara on her eyelids when they arrive? I'm just curious about that. 20. I think the S7 finale (wither you enjoyed or not) gave us an idea of what Josh and Nicole has/have in store for us in this upcoming season. As far as the Pillars go, I've been thinking, that something is being set up that will cause them to go back to their original timeline in history, maybe they start losing whatever power they have or like Mistmane did in her story, start to grow older and in this case, weaker because they're slowly losing their power, and the only to save them is to send them back to their own time. Also I think somehow we will probably find out the that there is something more Darker than the POS, Tirek, Chrysalis , or any threat they've faced combined. I also think that all 6, if not Mane 7/8 Will get a vision of what this NEW Threat is, and what they may have to do to stop it, which may be something silmiar to what The Pillars did a 1000 years before to contain the POS. But those are just my theroies. Do you all agree?

    Shadow Play Review

I finally got a chance to view (skim through) the 2parter, and I have to say that they did a great job with this one. I did enjoy Twilight's Fangirling over getting a chance to meet Starswirl pony to pony. I also liked how when they went to Ponhenge, that thanks to Starswirl's journal being set down on his pillar, that they got to see what exactly happened to Starswirl and the other Pillars in their final fight (at the time) with the Pony of Shadows. Now some folks may not like the fact that Starlight was the one that basically was trying to be and ended up being the voice of reason in this, but I actually enjoyed her role here. The reason being that, when Twilight and Sunburst were planning to free the Pillars from Limbo, that she was the one that pointed out that maybe they (The Pillars) had a reason for letting themselves be imprisoned in limbo with the Pony of Shadows, and that perhaps they shouldn't really mess with what was done. Heck, she even twice (before the spell was cast to free the Pillars) used/mentioned her past example of using StarSwirl's Time-Travel spell (S5 Finale) and how that almost turned out badly as a way of getting her point across to Twilight and Sunburst. She also was the one the realized that when The Cutie Map Called all the Mane 6's Cutie Marks at once, that it only does that when there's a Friendship Problem to be solved. And her reaction when Rainbow's calling the Cutie Map a Super-Duper Villain Tracker, after Rarity referenced the last time they were all called by the map, was to her village, I found hilarious. And Yes, I did like the fact that despite feeling down because Twilight wasn't listening to her (due to Twilight trying to impress and prove herself to Starswirl), she still stuck up for Twilight in the end and used her past experience to help Twilight free Stygian from the Pony of Shadows. Now speaking of that moment, after Twilight enters the POS and she meets Stygian, I loved how the Pillars all had the look of surprise and realization that they actually caused Stygian to be manipulated by the POS, because they didn't realize that he wasn't betraying them, all he was doing was trying to help them, by trying to make copies of their artifacts, so he could join them in their missions to protect Equestria. To me this was a good moment for the Pillars character development , because once they finally heard Stygian's reasoning for taking their artifacts, they all realized that they screwed up, by assuming something that wasn't true and not giving Stygian a chance to explain his reasoning. And that everything that occurred 1000 years ago could've been avoided had they just listened and not assumed. One thing I did really enjoy was when StarSwirl dismissed Twilight's plan (to trap the POS) at first, that the rest of the Mane 6 (finally having enough of his treatment of her at the time) stood up for her and explained to him that she never does anything half way when it comes to magic. Rainbow even mentioned her getting her wings, because she finished writing one of his spells. (Someone get a group screenshot of the Mane 6 from this scene) And finally, Starswirl's interaction with Luna and Celestria at the end, I thought was well done and cute. Overall, this was definitely a good Season Finale, and one I would highly recommend seeing again and again. The animation was good, the Mane 6's , along with Starlight, Spike and Sunburst character development's during their search for the Pillars artifacts and throughout the 44min finale was done very well. And surprisingly there was no musical numbers in this one, which I will (as good as some of the songs are throughout the series) admit is a welcomed bonus, because it allows the story to flow much smoother, and nothing feels rushed, so kudos for that. I can also see, where some felt that this could have served better, story wise for the MLP Movie, than what we got instead, but hey both were very good in the end. Now this does open doors for S8, S9, and S10 (which with the last two I believe we will get), and the stories and arcs that can be explored in those seasons, because of this finale. Season 7, Episodes 24 & 25: Shadow Play
