Which character do you prefer in their human form?

I wouldn't say I prefer Pinkie in her human form [she's just as wonderful and cute-aful as a pony]. But when I watch EQG I find myself thinking holy guacamole she is ultra cute to the max. More often than not she isn't even trying, just being her sweet/radiant self. I've been drumming for nearly twenty years now too. So when she gets behind the kit I turn into a giggle muffin.
  2. Hope you're all doing well.

  3. I still crack up at Claude in "Inspiration Manifestation" when he says "MAAH PUPPETTS". Seriously dude I'm like the weasels from the Toon Patrol in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

    Hello there!

My sister built up a substantial collection that my folks decided to keep for when she or I had kids [this was back in the mid 90s, can't remember exactly when]. But in 2002 the house we were living in at the time caught fire. Luckily I found two of them that weren't melted beyond recognition [I'd have to look them up. I know one of them has a clock for a cutie mark and the other one has flowers on her flank. It's been a while since I went back and watched G1 G2 and G3. All of my pony belongings are in storage for the time being [just moved from one corner of Michigan to the other]. I may get back into the realm of toys/collectibles, but it could be a while before I have any space to put it. The two G1 ponies I have I'll keep until my dying day. I doubt anyone would pay anything for them [they're in not so great shape].
  5. Hey laser lips! Your mamma was a snow blower!

    Hello there!

Welcome back. I hope your second stint is light years beyond the first one. There will always be a big dumb face or negative nancy out there [common knowledge of course] I just respect other people's opinion and agree to disagree. LOL coming from someone that still enjoys watching lackluster episodes [they all have something to offer imo, some are better than others no doubt] I also enjoy watching the movie for crying out loud. With all of its flaws [and there are quite a few, which is an understatement] I still love it, and I keep coming back to it. Why someone feels the need to be a party pooper jerk wad when it comes to discussing our pony homies is beyond me [sorry, not staying you're the party pooper jerk]. I'm 35 and I use to watch gen 1 MLP with my sister many, many, many, many, many moons ago in a decade far, far away. So for me there is nostalgia, and G4 has been my salvation [friends have died, family has been fractured, had to move hundreds of miles and start all over pretty much]. Everypony has their reasons for doing things, whatever they may be. Anyway, best of luck in all future endeavors.
  7. ...just moved from one corner of the state to the other, still not totally unpacked or even moved in to my new place yet [the current resident is in a bit of a pickle I guess, and I'm not one to force them out]. My sister has let me stay on her horse farm for the time being, and she owns a few ponies [one is a shetland pony, the others are smaller]. I have to help with the daily chores and they are so friendly!!!

  8. I finally got around to watching s1 of Unikitty! and MLP is still numero uno, but that show is so me lol

    What are you listening to?

At this point this is the only track that I enjoy from their new record [still a great band though. There's no shame in a band changing/evolving]. I feel like I am crushing the forces of evil when I listen to this Parkway Drive - "Chronos"

Threw off the veil, it's finally time...

    It's definitely not for everyone

Don't get me wrong I dig The Rainbooms :)

Pinkie Pie could definitely use another kick drum too

I think it's safe to say that Rainbow Dash would like his music
  13. I just think it could be so much more. I know, I know they're still in high school and have to defend Equestria while navigating the complexities of friendship. So practice time is definitely at a minimum. There's always room for improvement, and I get the feeling that they're still searching for their sound. Several years ago I discovered a multi-instrumentalist named Joey Cohen [his musical endeavor is titled "Sky Sanctuary"]. When it comes to blending genres within a metal/hard rock/djent song structure he is a rainbow in the dark. So you're probably wondering "What the hay does this have to do with EQG and The Rainbooms?" Listen to some of his work and picture our homies playing a similar style. The only thing is it's instrumental, lyrics can be powerful when utilized correctly, and not having vocals in their songs seems rehoofulous [get it? wink wink nudge nudge]. But take the battle of the bands in "Rainbow Rocks" for example; if they played a track that was along the same lines the sirens would have been sprinkle-blasted to bits! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKe88LcxWGo - a medley of his album "Insert Coins" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTYOusP8AIs - work in progress perhaps? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjAz8Wbo1zQ - work in progress perhaps? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11c3Zj45Fro - another work in progress? SOO GOOD! It may not be your cup of tea [no shame in that, to each his own ] but it seems so fitting, since they're the defenders of a parallel Equestria. If the gang was tasked with facing another musical foe I picture a super saiyan 4-esque rainbow blastwave of love, awesomeness and radiance being emitted in all directions. If they're gonna be in a band [that's already pretty darn awesome] hopefully they ascend to that level of tubular radical righteous coolness. I'm not sure if Joey Cohen is into anything MLP, but it sure does fit if you ask me. If you like what you hear check out http://skysanctuary.net

What Are You Playing Right Now and Progress

Destiny 2 - DLC 2. I have a Hunter, Titan, and Warlock [Hunter is my primary character, haven't even touched the other two since before DLC #2 launch]. I found all 45 data fragments in Hellas Basin, got the exotic sword, exotic sparrow, etc. Now I'm working on attaining all of the override frequencies. I haven't even touched the raid or raid lairs [still have to do my homework and watch the walkthroughs, and find a solid fireteam]. Plus I would like to improve in PVP [1.45 k/d I know, I know it can be better ]. It's nice to see that the grind has returned [to an extent]. I'm looking forward to September [random weapon rolls return? Bounties will be brought back]. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
