Can be any, doesn't matter what you're celebrating! In regards to traditional/hymnal Christmas tunes, I've always enjoyed We Three Kings because its just so goshdarn poetic and catchy. Actually, that's why I love most old Xmas music. I think Ocellus is adorable, and I'm currently a biology major in college, so I couldn't resist the studious little lovebug cuddling a bio textbook. I found it on FimFiction, serving as the cover image of a... less than savory story (which I did not read!) ...I'm afraid to find the full version of this image...

I have an idea for a big project I'd love to pull together down the road; without going into too much detail (or, really, any detail, lol), it will require voice actors, accurate ones. I want to close my eyes and have trouble telling the difference from the show's voices. I'd love everypony's opinion: who in the voice-acting portion of the community provides the best, most convincing impressions of Celestia, Luna, Chrysalis, and Thorax?

Do you think that zebras get Cutie Marks like proper ponies, or is the sun symbol on Zecora's flank a tattoo, tribal symbol, etc.? If it is her Cutie Mark, what could it mean for her special talent? Instead of a generic magic symbol, it's just a stylized sun... intriguing. So, what do you think? (And, though this goes without saying, Zecora really needs an episode dedicated to her.)

So, ever since the creators behind Roleplaying is Magic ( http://www.roleplayingismagic.com/ ) retired their game after Season 4 of FiM, they've put the stuff for the game up on their website for free, with the suggestion that fans could create their own adaptations, especially for later seasons. I'd love to update the game to Season 8 & Movie canon, with multiple playable races, perhaps new mechanics, etc. What are your thoughts? I'd love to report back with progress, though, admittedly, this will be a "when I find time" project on my part. I'd love to get a group together to make the work lighter, but that's optional. Just wanted to get my idea out there.

I just want a place where I can share my favorite horse memes and maybe find some I haven't seen before. Where would it be best to start such a thread? Art? (Do memes qualify as art?)

I'm looking for an easy, preferably cheap way to get specific blind bag minis online. I've seen individual ones go on eBay for up to $100 (Sweet Celestia, Chrysalis, you're breaking the bank 0_0; .) I'd love to know if there's an easier way to find everypony's favorite characters for those, such as me, on a budget (a college budget at that...)

Yeah, it was a discussion/roleplay *somewhere*, my memory's just not serving where at the moment. They referred to it as the "War of Night", and I'm like "Well, YOU get Awesome Name Points(TM)".

So, pretty straightforward question: how long did the Royal Sisters clash before Nightmare was banished to the moon? I was always under the impression their battle lasted for a single night, the night Luna turned, before Celestia, unable to turn her back, used the Elements to banish her. But I've heard it referred to as a "war" in some places, which makes me wonder if it was a more drawn-out conflict, almost a civil war of sorts... whether or not it's true, it's an interesting concept. So am I right in assuming the one-night battle? Am I wrong? Just crazy (probably so, but still)? Or is there no straight answer in any canon?

Well, here I am. The story of how I joined the herd is a long and complicated one, but all that matters is I'm here now. You all can call me Tyrannus or some other variation on my screenname. I do have a ponysona or two, which I'll introduce, probably, eventually. Paleontology is a passion of mine, along with video games, sci-fi/fantasy, writing/drawing, and overall just being creative; I also study Latin from time to time, linguistics being a guilty pleasure of mine.
