As we are updating the site we are also updating some of the security certificates. Messages like this may appear while that is going on. They should be gone in a few hours, so no worries In the meantime, I recommend not adding this site to the "Security exceptions" that some browsers offer.

Animation just isn't as plentiful in the fandom as a whole. There is enough interest in animation, but the amount of time and effort it takes to create a animation piece means there aren't enough animation works to fill a compilation compared to artwork and music works. Therefore most animations we get sent in get featured in their own post. That said, you might want to mellow your tone. Insulting others isn't going to help you get any more support for animation.

All upgrades have been completed and the forums should be functional again. If anything weird pops up after these upgrades please let us know.

It wasn't a easy fix that could just be solved using the forum administration tools. Part of the solution required several server software and hardware upgrades. Most of the EQD staff was out for BABSCon last week so didn't have access to a computer authorized for full server management, which was also cause of the delay. This should also be fixed for any future e-mail notifications.

It took a while, but the server issues should have been fixed momentarily. Apologies for the delay on this one.
