So. Anyone got some builds for Payday 2? And if wrong thread to post, just guide me to where it should be :)

Right now I am running a Frenzy berserker build with Anarchist. And I can say one thing. Even just with Lightweight vest, you're almost a undead god if you run around with an Eagle Heavy Rifle and just shoot everything. I can damage around 500 to the Cpt Shields. And this is bodyshot only as 68& headshot damage is putted into damage.. So, those FBI guys with vest, are killed in one shot and the shots is going through the armor, so they are killed no matter what.

Hope you all understand my derp English, I am doing my best.

Ever since the Anarchist Build came out, most of my Crit/Dodge builds have gone from Grinder over to it and things have gotten out of hand ever since.

My current build is a spin-off from this build: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=360215922

Instead of the Raven Shotgun I've been using the Breaker 12G from the Biker Pack with Flechette rounds, turning me into an unstoppable force to be reckoned with as even Snipers cannot withstand the might of the Anarchist.

I also have a sniper build as well. I'll post more in a bit.

Stick with me, dude, I shall lead you to victory and much richness.

Well. I am infamy 13 with level 92 or something. And I can say. I already got some good builds, I just play with a lot of people from England or USA when I got time. Mostly having a crew, but well. That is effective. Plus. I normally use a Locomotive and 50.cal until this was shown. I love this new Beserker build, otherwise I just went grinder with the sniper and shotgun.

But. I am always up for experimenting.. Also. 740 hours in the game.

Don't oversell yourself cupcake. We've got plenty of veteran heisters around these parts. :sunset:

Ever since Anarchist has been out there's a lot of Armor-centric builds going on, dodge use seems to be at an all time low since Grinder got a big nerf.

However a good mix of both can go a long way. I personally run an ICTV Anarchist with Ammo skills, LMGs and Shotguns on one build and a LWBV Crook with Silent Killer, Armor skills and FAIKs on the other.

Grinder these days is pretty ineffective but if you still want a Health-regen based build an LWBV with Ex-President and Armor skills will likely pay off.

If Dodge is your thing you might want to look into Rogue or Crook (LWBV with Thick Skin) with Sneaky Bastard, Crits, Silent Killer and concealment based weapons. Optical Illusions can cancel out any suppressor's concealment penalty and Silent Killer's buffs will make up for loss of accuracy and give you a nice damage boost. I'd still advise FAIKs for such a build though.

Berzerker builds with Anarchist are also a thing, a really really tanky thing, but I'm not fond of Brawler skills. @SonataDusk can help you in that department.

As for viable weapons, anything becomes very much usable with Silent Killer builds as it gives you a large boost in Accuracy and Damage, and you can then build your weapons for stability as accuracy usually goes beyond 100.

Frenzy berserker is good, but add on overkill and it's even better. When you get DW revive health, you'll be able to one shot bulldozers with the Barrett once the Overkill Ace bonus is activated.

I'm at work posting this, but once I'm back I'll post my exact setup for it, as well as a melee crit build using sociopath. We all know what the best build is, but this is just fun.

Personally I do sort of what Sky says with a variation to fit what I can do. For me a pick up a load of tank and ammo abilities along with all the accuracy and speed upgrades you can get. With that I equip an LMG and SMG and go to work. For perk deck on that I was originally using armorer but overall muscle provides more longevity with the health regen

This I like to call Twilight Sparkle, because it's overpowered beyond belief. All skill points have gone into either boosting damage or increasing armor. health is irrelevant, since anarchist all but guarantees you will not take damage. As I said before, Overkill Ace gives a huge damage boost, so long as you are consistently getting shotgun kills. This, on top of Berserker and Underdog means that you can bring down any cop in just a few shots, and when the damage boost is high enough you can one shot skulldozers to the body. Fully Loaded ace allows you to not worry about ammo. No ammo worries, no health worries, combine the two and you get no worries.

Now for the fun build.

I've always had a penchant for focusing on melee in FPSs (an admittedly outdated exhibit A http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=693751895), so it's only natural for me to try and continue the tradition in payday. I finally got the Hotline Miami 2 content, which allows me to take full advantage of the Sociopath perk decks health regeneration. To inform, Sociopath gives back 10% health for melee kills. It also gives back armor and causes panic, but those aren't really important. What is important is boosting that melee damage to make getting health back as easy as possible. The boosts active here are Overkill Ace, Low Blow Ace, Unseen Strike Ace, Pumping Iron Ace, and Bloodthirst basic. In respective order, 75% increase to damage after a shotgun kill, maximum 30% critical hit chance, 35% critical hit chance for not taking damage for 4 seconds, flat 50% boost to melee damage, maximum 300% melee damage boost after successive ranged kills. A crit is headshot damage, and as an example a tan SWAT has a 2x headshot multiplier, which is comparatively low. Still, if you land a crit, which you are likely to if your concealment is 25 or lower, you will get an 850% damage increase! That's best case scenario, if you use a high damage weapon like the Katana, you don't even need all the boosts active at once to one shot most cops on DW.

To compensate for the lack of armor you will have when going for concealment, low blow gives a little bit of dodge, although you will be going for a lot of melee kills to recover the health you will inevitably lose. The Silent Killer skills will help compensate for having no other gun related skills aside from overkill, and make the high concealment weapons viable. Despite me labeling this a "melee build", you will still be going for gun kills to boost bloodthirst.

So there, an OP build for everyone and a fun build for people who like breaking the meta.

Sonata. It is something along your build I use.

Though. Grinder is still effective because the nerf wasn't that bad. Grinder can still heal massive health if you throw molotov or shoot enough with your weapons.

On my beserk build, I got almost all the skills in the beserk side. I can try attach some screenshots once I get on. I just edit this post though. And I love the 1.4 damage everytime I start the heist

Also. Ex-president isn't bad at all. It works great, but it's healing isn't that good compared to some of the other perk decks. As well, I remember day one hostage skill, you got 30% health instead of 0.4%. And I ran hitman once because 0.7 armor regen. Maybe it can be more effective now.
