Hey there, card game fans! Seems like it'd be a good idea to have a thread here to discuss the official MLP Collectible Card Game, and to link to some resources for all players to check out.

 

Feel free to use this thread to talk about MLP:CCG, or ask any questions you'd like about it! I'm responsible for the theming in the game, meaning stuff like the card subjects, images, names, flavor text, etc., and if I need to get lead game dev Adam in here to answer questions about his side of things then I'll be happy to.

I might as well finally post a reply to this. While I don't play the MLP CCG, I've been collecting the Super Rare and Ultra Rare cards for the last couple of years. I've come pretty close to completely the former but the latter will definitely take some time. I've posted box pulls from High Magic and Marks in Time on my DeviantArt account if anyone is interested in seeing those.

It's a good game, but it didn't really take off in my area. I've got a couple decks.

If only there was some way to play this online.  My daughter and I went to BronyCon in August (fabulous fun!) and that's where I learned about this game.  I'm learning how to play (she's not that eager, though she's learning for me) but I wish that I could play with someone that was ecstatic about this game.  It's great (so far, I have so much more to learn) and want someone to play with, darn it lol!

Yeah, I don't know if I'm planning on collecting the cards, but I'm defenitley going to spend some time reading up on every pony, and the rules for the game!
