What would your pony animations be like?

Recommended Posts

If you went on to make your own pony animation studio, what would your content be like?

My animation style would be very elaborate, being inspired by various Japanese animation studios such as Production I.G, Studio 4°C, and Madhouse Studios, as well as western studios like Amblimation and 2d Dreamworks. The character models would be highly detailed with endless possibilities for facial expressions.

I would have two separate channels, one being for my solo works, and the other being a studio with its own personnel of voice actors, writers, composers, sound designers, other animators/artists, etc.

The solo works would have music being the dominating sound, particularly heavy metal music.

The bigger studio's animations would include a short animation inspired by this pic, an animation similar to fanfics like Rainbow Factory (which would run around approximately a half hour), and a full length (yes, like what Journey of the Spark would've been) Mad Max crossover.

The Mad Max crossover would capture everything that made Fury Road so great, while being a totally original story. It would take place after Equestria had been totally ravaged by an unknown magical force, and turned it into a barren wasteland, as well as the princesses being dead. With the railroads no longer being operable, the ponies and other races of made their own vehicles to travel across Equestria. The protagonist wouldn't be an existing character from the show, but an OC, who would be very much like Max. There would be lots of intense action moments along with crazy and twisted villains. There would also be unique vehicle designs shown throughout the animation. Of course, there would be absolutely no Fallout: Equestria cameos whatsoever.

Our software would include TVPaint being the de facto animation program, Autodesk May, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.

I would make original AMVs set to some of my favorite songs or pieces of instrumental music, using their lyrics or structure to craft a coherent narrative for the visuals rather than just have disconnected scenes or abstract interpretations. The visual style would be something like Duo Cartoonists' with flashes of different styles for impact and emphasis.

Basically, the model for my approach would be Disney's Fantasia instead of a conventional, mainstream music video or spliced-together AMV.

I would most likely make something revolving around epic battles with smooth and awesome animations. Like in animes. Watching drawn masters of battle spar is a quality entertainment) ^ ^

I would basically take my ideas from my stories and turn them into short animations, the beginnings to the epic battles to the tear jerking emotion id love anything really as long as the animation is quality or has charm

one of my favorite examples.

I would use source filmmaker because I have experience with the programme and I use it a lot. (I think I'd be solo though I don't work well with others >.>)
