What's the most ungrateful thing that you saw someone do?

Recommended Posts

First one is from a friend once told me this story:

knew a girl who got a nice little Ford Ranger. It was a couple years old, but had all the bells and whistles, except 4WD. That wasn't good enough for her, so she wrecked it intentionally. She fractured her neck and had to walk around with a cervical collar for a couple months.

And then her parents bought her a piece of shit 1980-something Ford Escort.

_______

And now I will say mine:

A girl in my high school received a used car on her 16th birthday. she was unhappy with the fact that it was used (3 yrs old) So she intentionally totaled it. Her thinking was that if she totaled this one her parents would have to buy her a new one. She didn't get a new car and had to ride the bus.

___________

So now I ask everyone here: What's the most ungrateful thing that you saw someone do?

Working at a retail store, you see a lot of things, this included. However most of them aren't really all that bad. At most its just someone not saying "thanks" when you offer to give them freebies. Sucks I don't see much excitement at work.

People who act like that aren't worth your time. Best ignore them and go on with your life, you really don't want that kind of toxic behavior around. :notimpressed:

I personally haven't seen anything quite on that scale, but I've witnessed a few cases of bratty children who break toys so their parents would buy them new ones or scream/cry in the middle of a store because they didn't get the toy they wanted.

Oh man there was a really ungratefully disrespectful guy I had to deal with in school.

So the thing is, I go to a Special-Ed school for reasons, and this new guy comes in who pretty much failed a ton of his classes in his old school. The guy complains about how school is cancerous, how everyone is literally "autistic" and how much he wants to kill himself just because he is in this school.

Though I must admit, I was pretty ungrateful myself. Back in 2010, I was going across the Atlantic for the first time to England, and 11-year old me only cared about going to England and not the other places I was going to by cruise ship. (Those places were Norway, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Finland, and Sweden.) 2013 comes by and I'm in Italy, but I was a disrespectful fuck to my tour guide and felt so horrible that I don't even want to think of it. (And now, I fear I am now to them what they think of an American.)
