My Little Sentry

No PLR maps at all?

The combination of hard defense and hard pushes necessary for both game modes are difficult enough to pull off with a coordinated team, let alone the uncoordinated mess that is pubs. They're both prone to stalemates since TF2 is biased towards defense and with half your team turtling hard, wrecking the other team's fortified defenses becomes very difficult if not impossible.

But screaming messes are half the fun of pubs... megusta_zpsoyilmbdb.png

It's really just a subpar gamemode. CTF could be dropped entirely, too.

Unfortunately, that's incorrect.

PLR and CTF are two of the better game-modes. Granted, CTF encourages sentry-farming, but this is all the more reward for a well-coordinated offense. Despite what you may think of pubs, I've witnessed good team coordination both on PF2 and here.

And PLR, well, it's simply the best. The concept of a totatlly dynamic battlefield (with both objectives in motion) prevents nesting and requires an ever-changing strategy. The requirement to have constant awareness of both the offensive and defensive tactical situations is unique within TF2, and what makes this the most interesting and challenging mode.

You really haven't seen good team coordination unless you were on that one time all of Delirium stacked. I think they were full on comming and coordinating that time.

If you want dynamic, Steel is much better. Once BLU totally groks the map, they can make RED dance like their little bitchpuppets by manipulating the spawns, spawn doors, and deciding where the fight takes place unlike on any other A/D map.
