ABronyAccount 4,233 Report post Posted October 8, 2020 Day 7 - Fancy! Pantsy! It's Fancy Pants! I tried something new here besides portraiture. For the magical aura, I used thick strokes from a black ink brush pen for an outline. Then I went back and filled the strokes in with little dots from a white ink pen I just bought the other day. I like the effect, sort of a reverse-Kirby Dots. But maybe it's not right for these ephemeral unicorn auras? 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ABronyAccount 4,233 Report post Posted October 10, 2020 Thanks! I haven't drawn anything seriously for over a year, and very sparsely for the last couple of years before that. Inktober is helping me dip my toe back in, by holding my face under! Day 9: Throw! Spike you don't even have wings yet. What are you doing helping AJ with the rodeo? Silly dragon. I used my new brush pen for the heavy outlines on this one. It's a little trickier than a felt-tip pen, that's for sure! Bristles, man! Here's a version without the brush outlines for comparison. DAY 14: ARMOR I think the one where Twilight donned the Power Armor of Friendship and plowed through the changeling horde like a snowplow under a come-to-life spell was my favorite episode of the series.
