Favorite MLP References?

What are all of your favorite MLP references to other media, pop culture, etc.?

 

 

Some of my favorites include a reference to Star Wars, as well as two references to The Shining:

My favourites have probably got to be the Biosock reference in 'Trade Ya', or the Slenderman reference in 'Pinkie Apple Pie'.

The Pinkie Pie Looney Tunes "Duck Season/Rabbit Season" reference from "Putting Your Hoof Down" is one of my favorite's.

When Scootaloo said that Babs Seed "went to the dark side" after joining Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. That's my favorite reference to Star Wars.

Excellent choices, everypony! I love all those references, too! (MGS is one of my favorite games, of all time.)

 

I also loved this "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" reference in the Lost Treasure of Griffonstone:

I wonder: How did anyone find him, in the first place? He appears in very few frames, and the bush so vaguely resembles him, that I don't think I would have ever found him myself, if my life depended on it.

Strangely enough, it was the reverse for me: Discord got me into Star Trek.
