But aren't the characters from MLP non-anthro furries? :eyebrow:

Er, no. They are sentient animals/mythological beings, mostly. Now Capper & and the pirates from the movie, they're furries. Meanwhile I LOOOOOVVVE catgirls/doggirls/etc., and enjoy sentient animals just as much. The big difference - facial structures, fur ratios, and postures.

Meanwhile I LOOOOOVVVE catgirls/doggirls/etc., and enjoy sentient animals just as much. The big difference - facial structures, fur ratios, and postures. Basically, it has to do with muzzles & noses. If the character is bipedal and still has a human face, I love it. Give it an animal nose/muzzle, then get it away from me. As for fur, if it stands upright, I prefer them to have no more fur than a Super Saiyan 4, otherwise that's too much for my tastes. However, if you change up said character into a quadruped animalistic model, suddenly I like them again. It's just the in-between I find disgusting as all get-out...... Also, another weird quirk to taste in design preferences when it comes to kemonomimi is (especially on the [now super rare] occasions I get to draw anything) I prefer that female characters to have the tails while males have the ears and some extra limb fur.

I disagree since the ponies in MLP behave like humans and to me any animal like creature (anthro or not) that acts like a human is a furry. Though i do agree cat girls and other human characters with animal ears and/or tail aren't furries since their just human but with furry accessories. I guess it all depends on how you define a furry. :pinkieshrug:

Also sorry for staring a random convo in a forum game.
