But still way more effective for complicated things.

About that I read a passionate blog about the conscience. It seems that the only one way to create a conscience is to perform a huge number of simple rules. Like an anthill. The ants are ultra simple algorithms, but they are so many that the anthill is a very effective intelligence.

If the ants were all intelligent, it the anthill would be a dumpster fire.

Ants.... they've always been a pest for me (I can't tell you how many times they've gotten into my backpack....), but they're fascinating creatures. The collective intelligence of the hive is amazing.

When I was young I wanted to kill all the ants of the world, because they killed my kittens.

They were stuck in a nest for the night, then the ants found them, and entered their body, I will skip the details but that was very sad to see.
